For a successful live purchase, ShipCove sends your shipment to the official UPS Shipping API using the platform’s connected UPS account. UPS returns the tracking number and label image that ShipCove makes available to print. ShipCove does not generate a substitute UPS barcode. The label must match your actual package, and UPS shipping rules still apply.
How can I check my label with UPS?
Open Tracking & dispatch for UPS events and delivery estimates, open the external tracking link in Shipments, or enter the number printed on the label directly on UPS.com. Compare it with the tracking number in your ShipCove shipment. UPS provides the carrier’s tracking status. If a number is not recognized or details look wrong, contact support before sending the package; do not buy a second label while the first purchase is unresolved.
Will I see the full price before I buy?
Yes. Enter accurate shipment details, get rates, and review the selected service and total before confirming your purchase. Quotes can change, and a changed rate may require a fresh quote. Any displayed savings comparison applies to that quote, not every shipment or every other website. UPS can assess later billing corrections when the shipped package differs from the information provided.
How do I cancel an unused label?
In Shipments, choose Void label and confirm that the label has not been used or handed to UPS. UPS decides whether the void is available. Stop using the label as soon as you request it. A confirmed void returns the original customer label price once: to shipping credit for a credit purchase, or through the original PayPal payment for a PayPal purchase. PayPal refunds may remain pending. If the result is pending or uncertain, use Check void or contact support; a request alone is not a refund. Separate invoice adjustments remain subject to review.
Is UPS declared value package insurance?
No. Declared value can increase UPS’s liability limit, subject to its terms, exclusions, and proof requirements; it does not guarantee reimbursement. ShipCove offers declared value on individual labels, not a separate insurance policy. Enter the actual value and keep proof. The form’s $50,000 cap does not override lower carrier limits. Batch labels do not add declared value.
Is ShipCove part of UPS, and do I need my own UPS account?
PhotonSells LLC independently operates ShipCove; UPS handles transportation. Customer labels use the platform’s connected UPS account, so you do not need to connect your own account. UPS bills that carrier account, and ShipCove charges your shipping-credit balance the price you confirm. A UPS tracking number verifies shipment status; it is not proof that UPS owns, endorses, or certifies ShipCove.
